To feed such a large family, I bought two dairy cows and ten goats, a few turkeys and ducks; also, I recently made a small chicken coop in the yard, with some laying hens. This tiny farm is a crucial resource for the sustenance of all, because it allows for a proper diet. Eating better is the first step in improving the health status. My children, who can count on a little meat and eggs from time to time, also have more energy, healthier skin and get sick much less often than children from nearby villages.
Since a few years we also have a dog, called Antonella: she keeps us company and at night she helps a bit in protecting the other animals.
