ALL TOGETHER

Here's some family portraits... there's so many of us! It's not easy to get together in front of the camera, but it's fun to try. The kids are always swarming around, playing and talking and simply getting together: the grown up take care of the younger of course, as they get to understand very soon the importance of being a family and lending mutual support. They are caring and welcoming to each other, with no fuss or fight... always available, never selfish.

A huge lesson to learn, anyway.

Lunch time!

The preparation of food is always a deeply felt ensemble time: the children like to gather around us, as we prepare polenta and baked beans (our standard meal) or some other vegetables. Some of them care, some help... and some other simply eat! Children are always enthusiastic and hungry, especially at times when you can't feed them regularly, and get curious and a little suspicious when there is a new flavor or a special dish to discover.

THERE'S NO BIGGER JOY THAN SEEING A CHILD SMILE AS YOU FEED HIM
